This little outcropping at the northern end of Morro Bay is the perfect place for cormorants to dry their wings. This shot taken on a beautiful, rare, sunny summer morning.
We have seen these lovelies and we have LOVED them! It is so gorgeous there.
My friend, I am very sorry to not be visiting as much as usual, but I've been so busy trying to do more than I obviously think I can do. You know, the physical universe has laws. And apparently, they do not allow for my being more than one place at one time or being two people. So it's driving me a little nuts.
Oh, sure. Some people would say I'm already in the driveway.
This is so beautiful. The California coast - well, the entire West Coast - is so beautiful. Nothing compares to those cliffs and rocks - and the wildlife of course.

Growing up in Azusa, California, my kindergarten teacher gave me an "unsatisfactory" in
