As a new year begins we bid farewell to Cemetery Saturday (for awhile). And to keep in the alliterative vein, Altered by the Sea now offers Suitcase Saturday! These are just a few shots around the house of some of the luggage we'll be investigating in the coming weeks.

We'll delve into my vintage suitcases
and see what's stashed away.
and see what's stashed away.

Art supplies, ephemera, bits and bobs and scraps and sops.
Erin! This is exciting! Look at those suitcases!
ReplyDeleteChris - See if you'd noticed, you could have used one to take away all the stuff you wanted to liberate from my studio! LOL!

Hi Erin, I enjoy your blog every day! These suitcases, even without seeing what each holds, are so wonderful, unique, and inviting. Thank you for blogging almost every day. I learn something so regularly from you. Leslie
ReplyDeleteLeslie - Thank you! It will be fun over the next few months to divulge their contents.

Erin,
ReplyDeleteGlad I decided to follow your link from "Tongue in Cheek." There is so much I wish to explore here -- but I will need to return later to do it. To help, I've added your site to the short list of blogs I like to read. Hope you don't mind.
For now, can I just say how much I like your stacks of suitcases -- and how I look forward to seeing whatever you wish to share about their contents on Saturdays?
Janell
Janell - Welcome! We'll be delving into the suitcases every other Saturday. For 2 and a half years I did Cigar Box Wednesday where I opened one of the hundreds of cigar boxes I use for storing my stash. Finally ran out of those so decided to start on the suitcases!
