My friend Destiny asked if I could make a couple of stenciled spray paint panels to go in her bathroom.
She wanted rays (from Stencil Girl), punchinella chevrons and blues and yellows.
Leanne - Not on the wall (though you could do that) they are on large canvas panels that Destiny will hang on the wall. Liquitex spray paint - it's my favourite! Erin

Growing up in Azusa, California, my kindergarten teacher gave me an "unsatisfactory" in
Cut&Paste, and I believed her for 50 years. Now I am a mixed media artist and work in a library.

ReplyDeleteLisa - Thanks, I'm so happy that Destiny was pleased with the result!

That is a trip! I hadn't thought of using stencils on the wall like that--very clever. What kind of paint did you use? Love it! Leanne

ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble posting lately. I don't understand this interweb thing. Anyway, I won't rewrite the whole thing, but these designs are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteChris - Thank you, I loved working with the colours that Destiny picked.

Maria - They are my go-to stencils. They are getting very thick with paint because I use them constantly! Love StencilGirl!!

What a rich and infinite blue. It must give a sense of looking out a window at very high altitude. Great work. xo
ReplyDeleteMarylinn - Thanks, these colours are simply luscious and so fun to work with.
