The Royal Pavilion at Brighton, built for George IV when he was Prince of Wales. Construction took place off and on from 1787 to 1822. The Pavillion was also used by William IV.
Queen Victoria visited three times, but did not care for it due to lack of privacy and cramped rooms for her growing family. It was sold to the city of Brighton in 1850 for £53,000.
Brighton Pleasure Pier, built in 1891, another BIG attraction along the coast of this seaside city. Makes you want a frozen custard and a ride on a donkey, doesn't it?
