Great photo! I love the blues in the ocean and view of the coastline. You have all the wonderful elements of our coast; the lapping waves, the high level fog, a beautiful cypress, and a day to just sit and relax. What a wonderful Sunday post!!
I'm here via Seth, and I'm happy to tell you I'm glad I stopped by! A few posts down, you revealed your cigar box collection. Do you know how many cigar boxes you'llhave to acquire to make your collection complete? LOL. It's interesting that you collect such a thing, but I too am drawn to the wonderful art that was created to sell cigars. Most of them are stone lithography, and I don't think I have to tell you what it takes to create an image using a stone. GREAT stuff you have here!
MrCachet - Actually I don't collect the cigar boxes as a collection, I amass them to store my ever-expanding collection of art stash. I do love the glorious artwork on them and though I don't smoke I must admit I do like the lingering tobacco smell they often carry. Thanks for dropping by, Erin
We are all artists--so when creativity calls, be sure to answer!
Growing up in Azusa, California, my kindergarten teacher gave me an "unsatisfactory" in
Cut&Paste, and I believed her for 50 years. Now I am a mixed media artist and work in a library.

ReplyDeleteAmanda - This shot is from Carmel up the coast from us - a beautiful beach on a beautiful day.
