Getting to the last few pages of the
journal I've been using since last fall.
It's one I made last summer using the techniques from
Mary Ann Moss's Full Tilt Boogie Class.
I've really had fun with all the vintage-y
ledger papers and old photo snaps.
I've put several bookmarks in this one,
it has half a dozen valuable lists (goals, projects, etc.),
And it's the journal I took to CHA last January
so it not only has all my notes from there,
but also Tim Holtz's autograph.
I know,sorta geeky-fangirl, but I couldn't resist!
Thursday I'll post pictures of the new journal I'll be using.
It's full of bright Mexi-Colors and uses lots of muslin!
A very different look and size.
look at what's happening by the Sea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious book brimming with coolness. I love a visual journal that is actually USED. This one has a glorious voice like it's Creator. Applause!
Lisa - Used on an almost daily basis. Couldn't survive without my journals - they've helped me make it through some rough time and are around to record all the joy too!

I would love to turn the pages of this one in person!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful journal pages Erin! I love all the vintage-like pages with photos. What a wonderful keepsake.
ReplyDeleteSeth - It's been one of my favourites, I have often used old books for my journals, but there is something extra wonderful about using a book that I made.

Suzy - I keep trying to use other themes, but I always end up coming back to sepia and vintage - I just love the look.

This is definitely a yum fest. I hope it's in plain site when I visit because it's too difficult to secret it into my bag when I have to hunt for it!
ReplyDeleteChris - Thanks for the warning!
