Tag-Tastic!

Two more techniques using alcohol inks.

These two tags, on glossy cardstock,
were swiped through several colours of ink,
including a gold metallic, and then stamped.

I love the marbled effect and the way
the metallic shines through.

These, again on glossy cardstock, used several
colours of ink, dabbed on with a blending tool.

Then laying down a stencil and using the tool with
blending solution to fade out some of the ink.
Again I want to do more with alcohol ink
so I can perfect some of these techniques.

  2. bobbie - It was quite interesting - they didn't exactly do what I planned, but I liked what them did! Want to do more sometime.

  3. I have the inks I think. I got a three pack of ranger inks, and I also got that little applicator that comes with a stack of little white cotton pads. And I got some blending solution. Can you believe it? I haven't used them! By the time I got all that home, I was too exhausted to do anything.

  4. Chris - Don't worry, I got mince back in 2005 and this is the first time I've actually done anything with them!
