The Amazing Mosaics of Isaiah Zagar

If you're ever in Philadelphia don't miss the Magic Garden of Mosaics on South Street. This creation of artist Isaiah Zagar began in 1994 and through community support became a non-profit organization in 2002.

Not only mosaics, but lots of found objects decorate the walls, gates and pathways.

Open every day - an artful and truly inspiring experience. Read Lynne Perrella's story of her wonderful time spent in the Magic Garden.

  1. While I must surely have known about his work, what a joy to be cruising around this morning and find your posting about Isaiah Zagar and the link to Lynne's narrative. All that glitters may not be gold but it is close enough in the right hands.

  2. SO cool. I love this. I would love to be amid all of this and have it surround me. Thanks for the photos.
