New Daily Journal

This is my latest daily journal. It's one I made using the
techniques from Mary Ann Moss's Full Tilt Boogie workshop.

Pen and watercolour wash of my favourite coffee shop.

Love using old snaps!

A collage for my last day of chemo at USC
(getting it locally in San Luis Obispo now).

Trying out new markers!

  1. I have to laugh about the LO Starbucks...
I remember the furor in town when it was announced they were going to open there... many cries of "It will ruin the town!!"

Congrats on graduating to local chemo!

    Hugs ~

    1. bobbie - Now Los Osos is convinced that a McDonald's will destroy life as they know it. I like their Starbuck's because it has lots of inside sitting and as you know, with all the chilly fog, that's important.

  2. Hooray that you've already had your last day of chemo at USC. That's a milestone. Do you love those red bordered labels as much as I do? Crikey, for the time machine (yet again) to go back and scoop them up by the boxful at the dime store or stationers. You put so much life and work into your journals. I admire that very much. xo

    1. Marylinn - A time machine - yes! My local Five and Dime had boxes of those labels for a pittance. Luckily Margot's distributor carries them - not as cheaply as they were in the '50's and 60's, but at least wholesale!

    1. Megan - I've been journaling since junior high, but only started art journaling around 10 years ago. I love it, so much fun and a safe place to write and do whatever you want.
