Cemetery Saturday
Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Francisco overlooking the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Each marker inscribed with the name of a brave man or woman who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Gazing out across these graves brought to mind the piece I did for The Pity of War. So many lives lost, so many crosses, so many gravestones.

Very awesome photos. Your art piece is a wonderful tribute to those people who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Love your blog! Late again but congratulations on your anniversary. Commitment and Love give us the strength to be true to ourselves. This challenges us to give more sometimes than we receive because of faith of a greater purpose. Best wishes to you both for many more.
ReplyDeleteAmanda - Good to hear from you! It is so true that finding love and commitment with the right person enables us to be truly ourselves - we're safe, and loved.
