I found this small vintage case at the local swap meet a few years ago. It's delightfully worn and faded.
I keep some family photos, letters and diaries from the
late 1800's and early 1900's in it.

Wonderful that you have all that memorabilia -- and beautiful vintage ephemera from your own family.

I always want to adopt peoples precious letters at antique stores. I can almost hear their sighs of relief when they know that someone cares. I'd be a VERY happy angel if you picked up MY things....and you put them to such wonderful use!
ReplyDeleteLisa - I know what you mean. It's always very poignant to come across boxes of letters and photos at a flea market or antique shop. I like to make up history for them by following the clues they present.
