Gorgeous photos of the frozen lake. They remind of a film I've just watched a few evenings ago, which featured a frozen sea off the shores of Scotland -- maybe you know of it? -- "The Winter Guest." It's one of those films, Erin, that linger sweet in the soul. I wish to watch it again, but not anytime soon, since the first viewing is still at work within me. Supporting the sea's leading role, Emma Thompson and her mother, Phillida Law shared the role of supporting actresses.
Happy you are enjoying the novelty of being a guest of winter.
Janell - I loved that movie! Hard to go wrong with Emma Thompson and the beautiful Scottish seascapes. I remember too, spending some time processing it in the time after - thank you for reminding me of it. It has indeed been an interesting experience this thing called winter. Truly beautiful and exhilarating, but I do feel my Pacific shores calling me home. Erin

Growing up in Azusa, California, my kindergarten teacher gave me an "unsatisfactory" in
Cut&Paste, and I believed her for 50 years. Now I am a mixed media artist and work in a library.
