Bring on the Colour Outside!

Link
It's wonderful to have lovely colourful things in your house,

And it's wonderful to bring the colour outside as well. These beautiful examples of colour drenched walls are from the island of Burano in the Venice Lagoon.

This row of colourful cottages is found on Martha's Vineyard. Oak Bluffs was a Methodist Summer Church Camp in the late 1800's. Today the cottages are individually owned.

How would you like to come home to this colourful beauty
on a warm summer evening?

  1. Did you know Oak Bluffs is where the Obamas vacation? Many of the homes there are owned by influential black families. Cool, huh?

  3. Oh, we have dreams of going to Martha's Vineyard and we are definitely going to make them come true! And when we were in Raleigh it was so cool to see the lovely verandahs and colors everywhere.

  4. I'm such a fan of "outside" colour - not enough people take advantage of how fun it is to have a bright and colourful facade.
