You gotta love this. A tiny California Golden Poppy plant pushing its way up through the asphalt. Growing, reaching towards the sunshine, proving once again that nature often does what it wants whether we try to get in the way or not.
Here's its bigger siblings at the edge of the pavement. Maybe it's just me, but I always love it when I see a plant growing out of a sidewalk or street or, in this case, parking lot. Happy Weekend!
