I stumbled across this charming volume a few weeks ago on Amazon at an incredibly low price. I've been enjoying it immensely every since it arrived. Lovely sketches, wonderful writing. Ms. Swift, who spent her early years traveling around the globe, writes about now staying put in her little village on Long Island Sound. Sometimes travel and adventure really are right in your own back yard. Highly recommended for all travelers - whether you use a plane, a train or an armchair.
