I'm not usually a commercial hack - but this is too good to let pass by. Ben & Jerry have renamed their "Chubby Hubby" flavour - "Hubby Hubby" to commemorate the fact that Vermont is now allowing same-sex couples to marry. New England is really leading the way - with four out of six states. Congrats to couples in Vermont who can finally tie the knot and thanks to Ben & Jerry for this very public and wonderful endorsement. We can only hope that at some point in the future, the 45 states that don't currently allow gays and lesbians to marry, will realize that legislating against love is a really dumb idea (to say nothing of a violation of civil rights.) yay! I got a notice about this and have made a note to have some this weekend. I think I missed the key lime pie one! Any ice cream with pie crust in it is okay by me!!
