Here we are - Friends of the Cambria Library "Rowdy Readers (Not too precise) Drill Team. Notice how the banner carriers at both ends are much taller than me and are holding the banner up so that all you can see is my head!
When we were in front of the judges' stand, the drill team did a routine and did it quite well!
Here are the two ribbons we won (1st in the "Anything Goes" category and 2nd best in Marching Groups). I guess the standards are slightly different than back in my marching band days. LOL Everyone had lots of fun and it was a real kick to hear the curbside crowds cheering for the library.
