Photo from Wed. night's rehearsalThat's me in the middle. Labor Day weekend is BIG in Cambria. A three day extravaganza called Pinedorado. There's a BBQ, rides and games for the kids, dances, raffles, a car show and it all kicks off with a good old fashioned hometown parade on Saturday morning.
This year the Cambria Friends of the Library are entering a drill team, complete with book trucks! I'm one of the "banner girls" - don't let this get back to any of my fellow marching band members from high school. I was a very proud trombonist and, fair or not, we instrumentalists tended to trivialize the banner carriers and drill team. Ah, high school days - how glad are we that that was then.
