The town in the distance is Cayucos, where every Saturday morning, on my way to the library in Cambria, I stop for a fresh baked scone and a cup of coffee from Kelley's. My little pre-weekend treat to get me through the last day of the work week. Now it's Sunday and my weekend has begun. Enjoy yours!
Ah, life on the coast. There is no better commute in the world than Morro Bay to Cambria. I enjoy doing it on my bicyle. Good for you Erin having such a great way to start your day!
ReplyDeleteHow do you feel homesick for a place which has never been your home? But that stretch of coast, traveled many times in childhood and again as an adult with family to visit in Cambria, fills me with a sense of something missed or missing. How right that it is the road to work for someone so appreciative.
