Life on a Different Coast - Polperro, Cornwall

A lovely September afternoon at the outer harbour in Polperro, Cornwall. The sea scattered with sun pennies and warm enough to enjoy a paddle.

  1. What a beautiful photo...there was a shop in Pasadena years ago called Polperro, they even produced rubber stamps. I had no idea where they got the name. A little armchair travel on a Monday morning, good for the soul. xo

  2. Marylinn - We spent a week of magic and wonder and Cornish pasties in Polperro five years ago this month. We stayed in a 17th century fisherman's cottage and loved every minute of it - jumble sales, medieval churches, beautiful art, hikes along the coast, side-trips to Penzance and Bodmin Moor - it was a dream come true.
